About this unit

In this unit you will acquire a sound knowledge of network architechtures, topologies and components, as well as protocols and standards that control how devices "talk" to each other. You will learn about the benefits of networks, how to set them up, the potential security risks and find out what managing a network involves. Your work for this unit will culminate in the design and presentation of a network for a given client in the exam.
